Value Based Education for the Small Business

Business Accelerator Program

The award-winning Business Accelerator Program, especially designed for the small business owner.

The winner of three prestigious marketing awards, the Business Accelerator Program was designed by Hi-Impact to help American Family Insurance reach Hispanic, African-American, Asian, and Women small business owners. In doing so, Hi-Impact focused on the “community” element common to ethnic and minority-based markets, knowing that minority business owners depended greatly on their business affiliations for networking and education. It was also clear that in order to truly engage the business owner it needed to be a value-based, interactive program—one that was so valuable and unique, it would strengthen the American Family Insurance brand image in their mind.

Growth Coaching for Small Business

The program offers free coaching for small business owners in a community environment. Now in its third year, the program is designed to challenge the way small business owners operate today and encourage sharing of ideas among participants. Participants can join the program at any time–all sessions are recorded and available on demand to match their schedule. Participants learn through:

Symposiums—content-packed meetings held in major cities.

Webinars—virtual learning covering the Program’s core curriculum.

Online coaching forum—a place to ask questions and get answers from coaches and fellow participants.

E–tips—snippets, sent weekly, that can be used right away.

Tips & Tools—video, articles, and links available on the website.

Learning Groups—peer support groups to foster input and feedback among participants.

Going Viral

The integrated marketing campaign includes traditional medium such as: direct mail, radio, and print advertising. It also relies heavily on aligning with local ethnic chambers and organizations across the nation to promote the Program to its members. Social media serves as a critical component via Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter to foster discussions among participants and recruit new members to the Program.
